Brain Dump - Superficial Beings

Humans are superficial beings. The first impression we form of a person is usually by their appearance/looks In a group setting, we tend to be interested to know more about the most good looking person in the group. Let's accept this as a fact, and accept that this is just human nature to be attracted to good looks. However, have you ever wondered if your partner is attracted to you only due to your looks? He/she might deny it because society has portrayed people who focus on outer beauty as superficial. And thus most people are unwilling to admit and accept that they fall into that category that society has created. Hence, you will never know, and this gives rise to so many insecurities. Will he leave when he finds someone prettier? Will he leave when he you have aged and changed? Is he only with me because of how I look? And the fact is that you will never know, until it happens. The unknown in the future is so great. How will I ever know? How will I ever get ove...

It doesn't matter anymore, does it?

Waiting for someone like him to change should never have been part of my life plan. Maybe he is different now, maybe she's changed him, or maybe he's exactly the same and she was how I used to be. But that doesn't matter anymore, does it? .... The knowledge that life has its beginning and endings, that some loves are meant to teach you and not stay with you, that people come and go for reasons best left to simple truth of happenstance. I am starting this blog with a depression, anxiety and a broken heart. And I want to accumulate positivity and encouragement for my future self. Because I want a future self to exist.
